VinFast is a Vietnamese electric car company which is entering India for the first time. VF7 is their flagship SUV which has been specially designed for India.

• Length 4,545mm – i.e. in the mid-size SUV segment
• Curvy and modern design like a crossover
• 19-inch alloy wheels
• 190mm ground clearance
• 12.9-inch touchscreen
• Ventilated front seats and reclining rear seats
• ADAS (Level 2), i.e. modern technology like automatic braking, lane assist
• 7 airbags

Battery and Performance:

• 70.8kWh LFP battery
• 7.2kW AC charging and CCS2 DC fast charging

Two variants:

• 204hp FWD (450km WLTP range)
• 350hp AWD (431km WLTP range)

• WLTP range: 480km
• Features like ADAS, glass roof, large touchscreen retained

• Planning to open 34 more showrooms in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai
• Also, the charging network is being prepared with the resources of Vingroup

5. New Mahindra Compact SUV – Launch Date: 15 August 2025

Mahindra introduces something special every year on 15 August and this time it is going to unveil a new compact SUV.

What has been revealed so far?

• It will be based on a new monocoque platform called ‘Nu’
• Sub-4 meter in size – i.e. compact SUV
• Design elements like Thar Roxx
• Different identity from XUV 3XO and Bolero
• It will be technologically rich from inside as well
• Engine: 1.2 liter petrol and 1.5 liter diesel (expected)
• Hybrid version can also come in future
• The name is not decided yet, but it is expected that Mahindra can reuse one of its old names.

6. Mahindra Vision Concepts – SXT, X, T and S – Revealed on August 15

Mahindra has not just one SUV but a whole Vision series ready:

• Vision SXT – Thar-like rugged design
• Vision X – Could be the XEV 7e which will be an EV SUV
• Vision T – Next version of the electric Thar.e
• Vision S – Could become the third new model of Scorpio

However, not much information has been given about their engines, features and launch date yet.
